Who we are

With over a decade of hands-on experience, EMC Tiling brings a high standard of workmanship and a passion for quality to every project. Based in Lake Macquarie, we proudly service the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and Hunter regions.

We specialise in pool surrounds, outdoor decks, bathroom renovations, and kitchen splashbacks - using everything from classic ceramic tiles to intricate mosaics, natural stone, and marble. No shortcuts, no compromise - just skilled tiling done right.

Join the EMC Tiling Team

We're on the lookout for a dedicated and motivated First Year Tiling Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a full-time role based across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Region.

Whether you’re already enrolled in TAFE or looking to begin your apprenticeship, we want to hear from you.

What you can expect day-to-day:

  • Assisting with tiling projects

  • Preparing and cleaning job sites

  • Mixing glue and screed

  • Unboxing tiles and general labour

  • Setting up and packing down tools

  • Grouting and support work

We value professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. You'll be working around clients and builders, so a neat appearance and respectful attitude are essential. A current driver’s licence or reliable transport is also required.

Start Date: July 2025
Trial days will be offered to shortlisted applicants.
